Customized Medical Care Just For You
Skurcenski Primary Care is a solo medical practice with Alison Skurcenski, MD as the sole provider. With this model, the office will include a very small staff that will be able to get to know you on a personal level, something that traditional multi-provider offices are not able to provide.

Why Concierge Medicine?
One of the reasons I decided to become a family practitioner is that I loved getting to know individuals and families and establishing a relationship with my patients. Over time as the medical climate has changed, it has become more and more difficult to form the same type of relationship with patients. Patients are often unable to see their own doctor when acute problem arise. These changes have led to primary care being forced to become primarily disease management oriented without the ability to really spend the time listening to and understanding the whole person. For this reason I left family medicine 10 years ago and began working urgent care. I am thankful for all that I have learned and seen while working in an acute care setting, but I have missed the continuity of care that is a central part of family practice. I am now excited to have the opportunity to make a move back to family medicine using a model that will allow me the opportunity to practice medicine the way I was trained and the way that brings me fulfillment as a physician.
How is concierge medicine different from other Family Practice offices?
In this practice model, with an annual retainer fee, each patient will have a yearly complete physical exam of 60-90 minutes duration that will include a review of all ongoing medical issues, medications, specialist visits and comprehensive screenings as well as time to spend on other concerns you may be having. Additionally, your annual membership allows for up to 10 visits a year, including management of chronic medical conditions and acute issues as they arise. Office visits range from 30-60 minutes. You will also have access to your own doctor directly through email and even by phone or text after hours for urgent issues that cannot wait for the next business day.
Licensure and Certifications
Dr. Skurcenski is certified with the American Board of Family Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Our Core Values
Our mission is to provide quality medical care that is customized for each patient based on individual needs and goals. By allowing for more time with patients at each visit and a smaller number of total patients in the practice, the concierge model allows for the development of strong physician-patient relationships that are ideal for this level of care.
